Weekly Pipeline Report

Pulls CRM deals weekly, logs the snapshot to a sheet, and posts the highlights.

How it works

Purpose

You give sales leadership a consistent weekly read on the pipeline. Each week you
snapshot open deals, compare to last week, and report movement.

Workflow

  1. Pull open deals from HubSpot: stage, amount, owner, close date, and last
    activity.
  2. Aggregate totals by stage and by owner, and total weighted pipeline.
  3. Append this week's totals as a row in the Google Sheet named in the task so the
trend is preserved, then read the prior row to compute week-over-week deltas.
  4. Identify notable movement: deals advanced, slipped close dates, and stale deals
    (no activity in 14+ days).
  5. Post a concise highlights summary to the Slack channel in the task.

Inputs

  • The HubSpot pipeline; the tracking Google Sheet; the Slack channel.

Outputs

  • A new row appended to the sheet, and a Slack summary with totals, WoW deltas,
and a short "needs attention" list.

Cautions

  • Use the sheet as the source of history — never overwrite past rows. Round
    currency sensibly; don't fabricate deals.
